using the layer blend modes. Now, what we're going to do is add a little bit of visual flare to liven the image up a little bit. And this will also hide some of the errors and some of the less precise masking that we did. So, what we're going to do is open up our project folder. And I've got this kind of abstract pattern here. So, I'm going to bring that in. And I'm just dragging those bounding boxes so that it fits the frame. And we we're going to want to put this underneath on the layers panel so that the subject is on top. Next, where it says normal here, these are the blend modes. So, we want to adjust these blend modes. And you'll see that as I go through these, the modes do different things. So it can go um lighter or darker, multiply the image. I generally think overlay or soft light looks the best for this. So let's go with overlay. And I can already see that some of those imperfections are being taken away and hidden by that overlay. And the other thing that we can do is come into the adjustment layer. So, making sure I'm clicked on this layer, going into adjustments, and um we can adjust the different levels over here. There's no right or wrong way to do this. You kind of just want to go through the different settings and make sure that you're getting the colors that you want out of it. And generally with thumbnails, you want to have fairly bright, vibrant colors to catch people's attention.
