Booking Equipment & Facilities

All patrons (students, staff & faculty) must be a part of The Creative School. For students this means enrolled in Creative School courses for the current academic term.

  • Complete the EDC Liability Form - this is your Signature on File
  • Make a Reservation in person or via the EDC Patron Portal
  • Pick up your equipment or key from the EDC at the reservation start time
  • For after hours use of facilities, visit the Keytracer cabinet
  • Check your equipment to ensure it works and you have everything on your checkout before leaving the EDC vicinity (fines will result if equipment is lost or damaged)
  • Return your equipment or keys to the EDC (or Keytracer) on or before your scheduled return time
  • Returning after the scheduled return time will result in a fine on the patrons account

It is the understanding that students will have the proper training for use of the equipment and facilities in their classes and workshops prior to borrowing them from the EDCEDC staff can assist with most troubleshooting issues.

To book equipment or browse what is available, please use the patron portal.

At the start of each year of your studies, to access equipment and facilities, all students must register with the Technology Resource Centre by completing a Technical Operations Agreement Form. By submitting this form, you are agreeing that you are responsible for knowing and complying with Image Arts policies and procedures.

Please note that you will not be able to access the online booking system until you’ve submitted your agreement form and it has been processed by staff. Expect at least a 24 hour turnaround between submission of this form and activation of your access.

Once activated, equipment can be reserved using the online booking system. Login with your TMU credentials.
