Design + Technology LAB

DCC B30

The LAB is a technology-based workshop that supports creative research, scholarship, curriculum, and entrepreneurship activities across The Creative School and Zone Learning. We look to disrupt and revolutionize the use of technology within creative fields by leveraging digital fabrication tools such as CNC milling, 3D printing, textile computing, AR/VR, and robotics.

The Design + Technology LAB’s Service Bureau provides staff-operated fabrication services to current students, faculty, and staff of The Creative School. Available services include 3D printing—including FDM, SLA, and SLS—laser cutting, and vinyl cutting. Users submit completed digital design files for approved academic or scholarly research projects. Files are processed by LAB staff on a first-come, first-served basis.
