Primary Analogue Darkroom

This recently built/renovated Darkroom was designed to promote class and peer supported printing. The accessible and collective approach to this lab supports student projects with 14 independent enlarging stations, custom dimmable LED safelights, a B&W RC paper processing machine, a 4×5 film processing machine, a light-tight film loading room (with filtered compressed air), a large sink for tray processing, and chemicals to support standard darkroom printing and film processing.

Booking Process

This space can be booked through the Image Arts WebCheckout Centre.

Required Action

Undergrad & Grad Photography students with appropriate classroom training from an instructor,  completion of a safety orientation, and WHMIS.
