The Input Output Lab (IO Area)
HEI 301A/B
HEI 301A/B is the GCM plate imaging and processing laboratory. The lab houses two computer-to-plate (CTP) imaging systems supporting both offset and flexographic plate production:
Kodak Transetter 800 CTP for offset plate imaging
Esko CDI for flexographic plate imaging
Flexo plate processor
BetaFlex – Flexo plate tester
This lab is dedicated exclusively to instructional and production workflows for the GCM program.
